Jill is genuinely entertaining and knowledgeable and shares that knowledge in a fun way! I have found myself in awe of her on more than one occasion…such as when she forged her own knife…and when she made her own cheese. = ) I love the formalization of the England stage combat process she has shown us. But I also love the “what are you willing to do”, “learn as you go” of the Jackie Chan style. My own experience has been a mix: some formal stage combat education and some what can you do/willing to do/figure out on your own. There’s a parallel to driving a fork lift…when I worked construction…you hopped on and figured it out. A younger relative started working construction and he had to get certified first. Both ways have value. One costs more. But watching Jill, I think the price would be worth it. = )
